Slovene Scholarship Fund EEA/NFM
The EEA Grants and Norway Grants provide funding to 16 EU countries in central and southern Europe. There are 32 programme areas within different sectors ranging from environmental protection and climate change to civil society and research.
NFM-EEASlovene Scholarship Fund supports international mobility and inter-institutional projects in education, training and research, thereby contributing to the strengthening of the development of human capital and knowledge base. The Fund aims to encourage bilateral cooperation between participating countries, in particular cooperation between Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Slovenia.
The project has 3 partners: Gimnazija Tolmin (Slovenia), Verzlunarskóli Íslands (Iceland) and GOLEA (Slovenia) and the title is Think global – Act local – The importance of green energy, sustainability and innovation.
This project is simply a great time for our students (and teachers) to learn about going green. Our main motivation is to make our students reflect about their own future and make them aware they can go further than the present moment because they can do things “differently”. Green energy is the key field of the future development of all countries. Therefore, it is very important that we educate our young people in this field as green and sustainable energy and its benefits is something the students should be made aware of as soon as possible in the educational
